Moab Trip Special Tool List

Ok Foley, Troy and myself said we would all pitch in to bring all the special tools that we might need. If your rig needs something special that you know of I assume you will bring it also but I went through my box tonight and made a list of what I am willing to commit to bring... These are the tools that will most likely stay in the truck back at the hotel. My trail bag will have the normal wrenchs, sockets, screwdrivers, hammers and that kind of thing...

Special Tool list is as follows:
Tire plug kit
Jump box
Extention cords
C02 tanks
Grinder
Hacksaw
Fuel line clamps
Large and small tube cutters
Thread Files
Spindle nut sockets
Steering wheel / Pulley puller
Ball joint / U joint press
Brake line / fuel line repair kit
Multi Meter and leads
Dial Indicator with base
Torque Wrenchs
Pitman Arm puller
Tie Rod press
Power Steering pulley pullers
Cordless Sawzall
Cordless drill
Work Light

If there is something you think you might need that I might have that you dont let me know

Im sure Foley and Troy will have some things to add or duplicate

Some jacks would be good to have??? I dont even as much as carry a HiLift!

I always carry a Hi-Lift and it is mounted to my roll cage in the Scrambler. Here are some things I am planning on bringing:

Sawzall (both the cordless and one with a cord)
Generator
Plasma Cutter (if needed)
Grinder with cutting disc
Grinder with grinding disc
Grinder with sanding disc
Bearing and Seal install Kit
Seal puller
Jack with jack stands
Drill (cordless and one with a cord)
Dewalt cordless impact

If I think of more I will post up, or if I need to take stuff off this list then I will.

I will bring a:
small oxygen and acetylene setup
120 volt Tig/Stick welder

have many floor jacks and stands
brake line flaring kit
lights for fixin shit at night
extra Rum for helping when fixin shit at night
peanut gallery with chairs and more rum
cicle clip plier kit for u joints
hammers and tools, BFH
pry bars
cordless impact, charger, batteries
aspirin for the rum from the night before.

You forgot an extra BFH for hitting your buddies in the foot or head for giving you crap when you are trying to fix your shit.

I'll bring all the toyota specific tools I need (50 some millimeter socket, diff carrier setup tools)

For generator / Welder, I've got a 225amp stick welder with 7500 watt generator. It includes 110 and 220v plugs on it. Between it and Troy's little mig welder we should have all we need for repairs big or small.

I'll also be bringing along a set of ez outs and reverse spiral drill bits.

I'll throw in all the helicoils and taps that I have. Troy should bring his complete tap and die set as well.

I'll throw in all my dewalt tools and batteries so we have plenty there.

All this will stay on the trailer. On my rig I carry wrenches, pliers, a few sockets specific to my rig, a breaker bar, a pry bar, and a little hammer.

If there is not air on the trail I will bring my nitrogen kit which can fill tires or charge airshocks and coilovers, otherwise it will stay on the trailer

You guys know what's in my shop, if there's anything I have that you need let me know.
