Well I started on Tulips front axle, well kinda...

I started to assemble the front knuckle because I need to get the lock to lock inner measurements so i know how narrow the front frame rails on the chassis need to be and get the axle build so it can be stuck under the chassis from the suspension mock-up...

Also have to have the knuckle assembled to the inner C so I can get the measurements from the inner edge of the inner C to the outer wheel mount surface so I know where to cut the housing...

I started by laying everything out and taking inventory and that's where the first problem is cause after taking everything out i am missing the front kingpin hardware... It was either shorted in the order or it does not come with, either way before I can start I have to get the kingpin hardware...

It took be hours to unwrap everything from bubble wrap and lay it out...

The cart is a FAWLKING PIECE OF SHIT of Hoops that I cant get him to dispose of so I figured if I pile enough weight on it, it might collapse!!! Twisted Evil lol!

Everything in the bottom is Tulips inventory for the front axle and everything on the top is Tim's inventory... (Before the man-ginas get to pulling hair I will state that there is zero reasoning behind why one is on top or one is on bottom but knowing these two they will have something to say!!!) scratch Not sure talking about Tim and Tulips position preferances are appropriate for this forum! affraid

    Anyway,,,

1ST pic is the front hub in bare form
2ND pic is the front hub with the rotor and studs installed. Tulip we spoke once about overpacking the hubs. This is the proper about of grease. There is no need to pack it full with grease, just enough to coat the inner walls...

The Green Grease seems to be the new rave everyone is talking about these days! Exclamation Question

Post #11 is the front hubs fully loaded...

That green grease works really good on drive shaft splines too.
    Doesn't taste very good, though.

Don't stick your shaft in your mouth and you don't have to worry about it.

Tulip requested some thick tube to be welded to the lower king pin caps to protect the zurts (sp?), I had a brand new stick of lower link material (not Tulips material) that I hacked off...

I hope the this is what you had in mind... Keep in mind the caps are machined cast so I heated up with the torch for a preburn and went to town then slowly cooled it off... (its still cooling off!!!)
