1st


This is a decent view of the full float puck and the alignment bar coming out the end. I use an extra long bar so it goes all way from one end to the next to make sure it is perfectly straight.

This is a pic of the alignment puck inside the 3rd member amking sure there is zero misalignment or heat distortion. Remember when welding this it takes tons of heat since we are using 3/8 tubes and the spindle is even thicker than that...

This is the spindle pressed into the end of the axle tube before welding. You can see the wedge where the mating area (weld area) for maximum penetration.

The tape is to protect the bearings inside the hub from splatter

Seriously though these damn things look SWEET!!!!

Looks about as mean as my guard dogs. I will make sure I get some puppy kisses when I come up to visit in the next month.
